James is a part-qualified patent attorney in our Electronics and Engineering department.
James graduated from the University of Bath with a Masters degree in Automotive Engineering and has previously worked in various research and design roles, most recently at Spirax Sarco as a research engineer, where he worked on developing new technologies for steam systems. Prior to this he worked at Johnson Matthey designing production equipment and supporting production processes and Delphi, where he worked to improve the reliability of fuel injectors.
James has a background in automotive engineering and has studied many of the broad aspects of vehicle engineering, but specialised in vehicle dynamics, internal combustion engine technology and powertrain systems.
