Emma is a trainee patent attorney in our Electronics and Engineering team.
Emma graduated from the University of Bath with an honours degree in Physics. She then gained a Master’s degree in Cybernetics from the University of Reading, where her research focused on the use of terahertz spectroscopy for the study of conformational states of biomolecules in solution. Following this she joined a centre for doctoral training in the Physical Sciences of Imaging in the Biomedical Sciences at the University of Birmingham, and completed an integrated Master’s and PhD. She has extensive experience in research relating to biomedical imaging, in particular single molecule and super-resolution microscopy.
