Ruth joined Venner Shipley in 2010 as a trainee patent attorney. She is working in our Chemical and Life Sciences Department. The focus of her work is the filing and prosecution of patent applications in the field of chemistry, particularly pharmaceuticals and synthetic organic chemistry.

Education

Ruth graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Masters degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Chemistry. She then completed a DPhil in Organic Chemistry at the University of Oxford. Her doctoral research focused on heterocyclic chemistry, during which she completed the synthesis of a bioactive natural product.
