Nicholas joined Venner Shipley in 2008 and is a part-qualified patent attorney.  The focus of his work is the filing and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of electronics and software. He has worked on cases involving a leading telecommunications company as well as working in other areas such as mechanics and consumer goods.

Education

Nicholas graduated from the University of Warwick with a Masters degree in Physics. In his final year project he studied the surface reconstructions of III-V semiconductor materials as well as surface preparation techniques under ultrahigh vacuum conditions. He also studied subjects such as medical physics, lasers, optoelectronics and semiconductor devices.

Nicholas also has a certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London.
