Oliver is a qualified European patent attorney. He joined Venner Shipley in 2006, and his main area of focus is the drafting, prosecution and administration of patents in the telecommunications and consumer electronics fields in the UK, Europe and overseas. He has experience of working in a variety of areas of technology, including telecommunications, computer software, wireless networking, mechanical engineering, medical devices and nanotechnology.

Education

Oliver has a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham, where he specialised in medical physics, in particular medical imaging and diagnostic devices. He also has a certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London.
