Ed is an associate in the trade mark department. Prior to joining Venner Shipley he studied English Literature at the University of Sheffield gaining an honours degree, and subsequently worked at another leading firm of trade mark attorneys in London.

As well as the filing and prosecution of trade mark applications both in the UK and overseas, Ed has experience in several areas of intellectual property law including domain name disputes, copyright, due diligence and trade mark clearance searching.

He has recently obtained a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and is studying for the ITMA professional examinations.
