Alex graduated from the University of Manchester with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Systems and holds a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London. Before joining Venner Shipley, he worked for a major IT company specialising in mainframe code programming, fault analysis and resolution. Alex is a Chartered Patent Attorney, specialising in the filing and prosecution of patent applications relating to mechanical and electromechanical inventions and also in the filing and prosecution of registered design applications.
