A specialist in trade marks, designs and copyright, Alan is the son of the firm's founder. He is a Registered Trade Mark Attorney who has practiced for over 30 years in British, European and foreign trade mark law. He has extensive experience of litigation, commercial licensing and negotiating settlements. He is a past Council Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) and lectures on trade marks for the principal course in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary, University of London as well as in the USA. He is a member of ITMA, the European Community Trade Mark Practitioners Association and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). Alan pioneered fixed-price trade mark protection, thus helping clients to manage their trade mark budgets.
