Our trade mark practice provides a full trade mark protection service including acquisition, licensing and litigation.

We have a broad range of industry experience in fields such as pharmaceuticals, electronics and software, as well as TV and media interests.

We represent clients at all stages of prosecution before the UK Trade Mark Registry and the Community Trade Mark Office (OHIM), including opposition and rectification actions. We also handle international registrations under the Madrid Protocol. Our global network of associate firms allows us to seek trade mark protection and organise litigation worldwide.

Our services include manual and on-line searching to provide infringement clearance and pre-filing registrability advice, as well as post-registration procedures such as renewals, watching for similar marks or infringement by competitors, and organising litigation. We have extensive experience of drafting and negotiating licence agreements.
