We act for one of the world’s leading aerospace companies, encompassing both commercial aircraft and satellite design & manufacturing companies.

In relation to commercial aircraft, we have drafted and prosecuted applications in fields relating to aircraft wing components and control surfaces including flaps, spoilers and slats as well as mechanisms to control their deployment and retraction from aircraft wing structures. We have also handled applications relating to spacecraft propulsion systems and satellite communication systems, in both geostationary and low earth orbit applications. We have significant experience in antenna design and associated technologies, both for terrestrial and space based applications.

We are also familiar with the technology relating to masks and breathing apparatus used by fighter pilots in combat aircraft.

Our electronics and engineering group is well placed to cover the requirements of our clients in this sector, with expertise that ranges from complex mechanical systems through to digital beam forming networks for satellite communications. One of the group members has a Masters degree in spacecraft technology.
